I recently retired as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the
CITRIX Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) Virtualization Systems Group after 6
years of service.
While with Citrix, I was responsible for a broad range of business and
technology strategies which contributed to the company's growth to $1.39
billion dollars in 2007.
As the CTO of the original and largest Citrix group,
I was
responsible for a $1 Billion business unit.
I
led Citrix's business and technology strategy, technology
architectures and platforms, patents and intellectual property.
I
also served as VP Product Marketing and Product Management for 3 years,
which resulted in majority of the company's profits and revenue growth
during the 2004 through 2007 timeframe.
Prior to Citrix, I accumulated more than 25 years of high-technology
experience, including key positions at BMC Software over an
8-year period as group and Internet architect for eBusiness Solutions...etc,
etc.
(Whew! I was a busy guy, huh?)
So. I did some things. I made some dough. So what?
Well ,
here's what: I mention these things by way of explaining my background
and motivation. Of all the things I could do with my life... I've
chosen to invest my time and money into bringing You the best poker club

And Now I Have The Chance To Do So.
I want to do more with my
life now than just make some more money or go fishing all the time. Or climb the next
"corporate hill."
I am blessed to have the opportunity to pursue something I
love, and to share it with others -- the game of learning and playing

So what about my "poker-related" accomplishments?
Here are a few examples of them in the past few years -- just to show

In 2002, I joined what was then known as the Citrix Poker Open
club, which
became the South Florida Open -- a private poker club
that played together several times a month.

In
2003, I emerged as the club champion,
having acquired the most tournament points for the year.

In early 2004, I began work on one of the first poker odds
calculators
in my spare time, which became known as Poker Sidekick. I also
founded Royal Flush Club,
Inc., positioned as a poker tools company.

I launched Poker SidekickTM in October, 2004 and began selling to a small base
of customers that
grew to more than 11,500 by 2007.

By early 2005, I released the first version of my best-selling
"Secrets of Winning Sit and Go Tournaments" e-book, and was recognized as an
expert author at EzineArticles.com on
Texas Hold'em poker.

In 2006, my innovation resulted in the first Web-based online
poker skills test at www.PokerTester.com,
a free Texas Hold'em skills testing tool I gave away to the
